Because of the á la carte nature of our product line -- you can mix and match
cabinets, doors and accessories -- pricing can be somewhat complicated to figure out. If
you'd prefer, we'll be happy to quote your job for you. We usually return quotes within
a few business hours.
Door and drawer front prices are calculated by combining a Design Charge (per item) plus
a Material Charge (per square foot). The design charge for each door or drawer front is listed under
its picture in the Doors & Drawer Fronts sections of the catalog. For example, the design charge for
the CRP-10 door is listed as "$11.25-B". The letter following the price ("B" in this example) refers
to a column in the Material Pricing Guide section of the catalog. Find the material price in that
column that corresponds to the wood specie and multiply it by the square footage of the door.
Finishing charges are calculated in much the same way, as described in the Solid Wood Finishing
Program section of the catalog.
To price Cabinet Systems, use the grid under the picture in the catalog of the desired cabinet. The cabinet code identifies
the size of the cabinet. For example, a W2430 is a wall cabinet measuring 24"(W) x 30"(H), or a B3634.5 is
a base cabinet measuring 36"(W) x 34-1/2"(H). The Craftsman columns are used for pricing plywood-construction
cabinets and the Pioneer columns are used for pricing melamine-construction cabinets. "3-sided" and "4-sided"
refer to the types of drawer boxes you desire. (4-sided drawer boxes are overwhelmingly more common.) Find
the cabinet price from one of these columns. To that price, add the door and drawer front price (as
described above). The door and drawer square footage measurements for two common overlay options (1/2" and
1-1/4") are listed in the grid for your convenience.
Other options and considerations apply, but following these instructions will get you reasonably close to your overall
pre-freight cost. To see complete details, review the Pricing section of the catalog.
Leadtimes depend largely on whether items in your order are being finished or not. In general, unfinished
items will ship in about 10 business days and finished items will ship in about 15 business days. There are exceptions including,
but not limited to radius doors, custom valances, applied moulding doors, or non-standard wood species. Rarely,
however, will it take longer than 20 business days to ship. Detailed Cabinet Systems leadtimes
and Custom Products leadtimes
are detailed in the catalog.
